« Why the change? »

I agree with anyone who has experienced the change in formula. It's runny and just a slappy/sloppy mess. The old formula felt like Noxema on the skin and left such a cool baby soft sensation. I used it religiously for 5 years. I was completely disappointed when I opened the jar and saw the pearl like color versus the original light blue...I knew something was wrong. As I shaved I was like "What the heck happened?" It's not as smooth, or clean as before, and the sensation is gone. Furthermore, the nicks and scratching are back. I hit Macy's to asked what had happened and they had no idea. I even had them open a jar before purchse to see if mine was a fluke.....it wasn't.

I am now trying the SHAVE GEL....horrendous.

Bad move ZIRH.....bad move.

« New Formula does not hit the mark »

The new formula is to light. It does hold to the skin as well as the original product. It will also not last as long as the originally thick brand. If the old formula won a grooming award why would you change it? It now has the consistency of edge foaming gel that does not foam.

« Changes in the product »

Zirh has changed the formula. The other reviews are accurate for the product as it was but the product has changed. It is no longer the dense creamy product we were used to. It looks, smells, feels and shaves differently than it did. I have used this product for a decade now and the change to the formulation has me looking for a replacement. It wasn't broke so I don't know why they "fixed" it. But if you buy this product based on earlier reviews don't be surprised to find that the current product doesn't match the old descriptions. I would rate this "new" product as average at best. I'm still looking for the replacement for the old product which I used to recommend highly.

I've got both my husband and my brother-in-law using this daily. They have thick beards and love, love this shaving cream. Order it and change your life.

« Not what i thought »

This is not what it claim it is at all. I tested it alone first and it was like not enough for my beard, then I combined it with Billy Gelously, it got a little better.
I better recomend you combine a normal Gillette shave gel(not foam) with any other product, (billy gelously or King of shave oil)
PS. Also it feels a little itchy
